    Hi guys,

Need some advice on going with the other half to Paris in June.

The plan is - fly out on a monday, home on thursday.

Main priority is good hotel localtion.

Anybody know where to get a decent all in package?

    Cheers.

    Google?

It's only Paris so IMHO a few hours research will find out all you need to know.

Book your flights with Aer Lingus.
Do a little resaerch into the RER/Metro system so you have an idea of how it works.
Get a taxi from CDG Airport to hotel (you can get the metro back though)

As for hotels, well you can't go too wrong as the metro system is so good that it's easy to get around everywhere. Post your budget per night and your travel dates and I'll see what I can find online.

Basically Paris is broken up into 20 districts, 75001 -> 75020, with 01 being bang in the middle and the rest spiral out with 75013-75020 being on the edge.

    Thanks for the great reply!

My budget would be approximately 900euro for 3 nights (2 people) some time in June.

Ive found plenty of packages within budget, however I have no way of finding out if the hotel included is decent.

I see you're located in Paris, what is the best area to stay in? Can you recommend a nice affordable hotel?

    Thanks again.

    Hey

I’ve been to Paris four times now and one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in is the
Best Western Hotel Belloy Saint-Germain, Paris Hotels, (http://bestwestern.worldexecutive.com/directory/france/paris/hotels/93506.html)

It is less than 200 euro a night I think. As with most hotels in Paris the rooms are not huge but just nice. It is a quiet clean hotel and the staff were friendly. Its location could not be better. You are in the centre of Paris. You are around the corner from Notre Dame and 2 minutes to the eateries of the Latin Quarter. I liked it, but have a look tar tripadvisor.com for reviews and Wotif.com for good prices.

    Enjoy the trip
