no defeats=no unavenged defeats to me by the same logic as no poultry would equal no chicken........maybe I am wrong though and its only people who have lost and avenged the defeat?

    Eh..

    1) Calvin Brock never knocked out Klitschko. Klitschko destroyed him in 7 rounds.
    2) WBC International heavyweight title is NOT a world title. It's a lesser title and a precursor to a shot at the real world WBC title.
    3) WBC USNBC is NOT a world title. It doesn't count for anything in boxing. It may aswell be the coco pops title, because it has no merit.

I take it you don't watch boxing much?

How? No unavenged defeats, implys that they were defeated and avenged their loss.

Rocky Marciano never lost a professional boxing bout so he is not included.

Did you mean to say 3 undefeated heavyweight champions?

heavyweight champion implys they were a "champion". Not some bum title to give someone to wear because they will never actually wear the real thing.

WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF (along with ring's title) are the only belts that actually count. But even nowadays, divisions are so watered down, even the major titles don't mean much.

found this on Wikipedia on lenox lewis the answer is right.
    [edit] Hanging Up the Gloves
Because Klitschko had fought so well against Lewis, boxing fans soon began calling for a rematch. The WBC agreed, and kept the Ukrainian as its No. 1 contender. Lewis decided to pursue other interests, including sports management and music promotion. Lewis said he will not return to the ring. At his retirement, Lewis' record was 41 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw, with 32 wins by knockout. Though it was rumoured in an article published by the Daily Mail on the 24 February that he would return to fight Klitschko once again, Lewis quickly shot down those rumours on his personal website. He announced once again, on March 4, 2007 (after the Edison Miranda vs. Allen Green fight), that he was not coming out of retirement. He said he was putting on weight and that "You've never seen a skinny King".

Along with Gene Tunney and Rocky Marciano he is one of three world heavyweight champions to have retired with no unavenged defeats.

No unavenged implys that there were defeats that they have avenged. Marciano never lost a professional boxing bout, so he doesn't have a defeat to avenge.

Is anybody not seeing this? If he said "Undefeated champions", then - Marciano would be the man.

Simple question dlo. How many unavenged defeats did Marciano have when he retired?

    None, nada, zilch, zero, 0!

Its a simple matter of logic, the question is purposefully asked like that as a trick.
