Nyeh, fancy niche marketing sells lots of Lomos. I should know, I have two:p Sometimes the results are pretty and eye pleasing in general but it can be a bit unoriginal and same-ish imo.

I think with alot of the pictures have a great 50's esque feel to them and thats a quality i love in a picture.

i went through a big lomo phase a couple of years ago. unfortunatly it got phased out when i got my digital compact which was so much lighter to carry around with me every day.
its a shame because the colour quality of my digital prints just doesent compare to my lomo.

Dont tell me you've chucked out your lomo?

I really want to get one, but i dont know the best kind to get is.

The problem i have with it is that it monopolizes certain cameras, the DIY largeformat camera they sell was originally half the price till they bought the exclusive rights to them, now they're the same price as secondhand real largeformat cameras.....whats the point? its the same with the elinkon, you can buy them else where for a fifth of the price.

    I wouldn't be a fan,

from what I seen, its very "wide angle and vignetting",
two things abused in digital PPing
