Can anybody recommend a method/application for producing a fairly fast slideshow?

iMovie offers a slide show template afaik, just set the time each picture appears on screen for your desired duration.

Sorry if that's not what you meant but you haven't given me a lot to go on. What do you mean by fast for example? Do you want it to create subliminal ads - flashed up so quick you don't see them but are aware of them ?

I want to make a slideshow where each picture only lasts for less than a second and it changes between photos quickly.

Each photo for less than a second in a slideshow? Sounds more like a slow-motion movie to me, but pls correct me...iPhoto allows settings of that sort, but perhaps iStopMotion might do the trick.

I too am curious as to why you would want it at that speed.I have just tried that on "justlooking" and it is really fast. Slideshow default min. 0.08 seconds. Justlooking is a free mac image viewer which displays images beautifully. Also starts up very fast. Made for Tiger but works fine on 10.5.2.
