Would An Post let you pick up a parcel early, from sorting office?

    Just wondering,
    was expecting something yesterday and it never came (obviously), I was just wondering if I went to an post would they let em pick it up from the sortin office???

    i have the tracking code and that and i'm sure its there.

    but do you think they'd say f-off as they must deliver it?

    They probably wouldn't say f-off, it would be poor customer service.
    They might say no though.

    Best people to ask though, is An Post!

    ahh yeah, i know like, just though maybe somebody on here would have had a similar issue!

    Did you get a slip saying that you could pick it up from 'X' Office between x hours?
    That's what I get when I miss a delivery from them.

    (partner is ex an post, his brother and sister still work there)

    the enquiry office at your local sorting office is usually open 9am-5pm and you can only pick up parcels etc during these hours. check the slip that was left though or check the website as each area is different.

    He didn't get a slip, they haven't tried to deliver it yet.

    it might not have even arrived at the sorting office anyway (and i doubt they'd entertain his request without a delivery slip)...so he'll just have to wait then! :)

    My uncle works in the sorting office and he always gets our parcels for us, I don't think they HAVE to deliver it.
