    lookin to learn the drums any ideas on what type i should go for?
    to be honest i know next to nothing about them so any help or opinions welcome
    i figure ill spend up to about 500 for a relatively ok set

    All spelling jokes aside, have a look on thomann.de for a kit, then find the best price for it.

    Pearl do a good entry level kit for about that... infact i think its 300 quid, its the pearl jazz kit. You can get it in metro music in rathfarnham shopping center.
