Im maybe being a bit cheeky in asking but if you could post a photo it would be great, theres very little of them left, even rotten ones. i have a one for spares too(also a cork city car at one time)and it wouldnt take much to peel the roof off with the rust!

    Thanks for that.

I know where motor word is now that ye say it on the left heading out the carrigrohane straight. I presume kevin o leary just went under their own name so,i thought it was they that were motorworld.

    don't know for sure

motorworld as far as i know were a separate garage on the straight road

kevin o' leary's would have been in douglas on the other side of town,so thats 2

motor world on straight road have sold datsuns since they first opened, about 5 years ago they were bought out by windsor motors of dublin.

There was a crowd called Blackrock Motors, they were a Datsun dealer around then if i remember correctly, they wound up in the early 80's I think.

Thanks lads, my car spent its first 20 years in the glasheen area so i presume its more likely it would have been sold new in motorworld.
