Moving to Cork

    Hi,

I'm been in London since graduating and have been here for nearly 4 years. I chose London at the time as my degree was in IT and there was much more job choice here and I had no trouble at all landing a great job.
Anyway, the time has come to return to Ireland and I'll be moving to Cork shortly.
I worked as a VB .net developer for 2 years and also did a good bit of business analysis/project management. I then decided to persue that side of things and my second job is now mainly business analysis as a middle man between the developer and end users which I love.
I have no idea of what the job market is like in Cork for my skills. Is there much demand?
And also how recruitments works. Is it advisable to use a recruitment company, or is there any good websites to search for these sort of jobs. All the ones I've found seem to be very Dublin based.
    Thanks a lot.

I just searched for VB on a cork specific jobsite, and only 4 results were returned.

I've been working in Cork for almost a year now and I have to say I had no trouble finding something (Though I do C++ and not VB).

The best thing to do is go direct to specialist recruitment agencies - skip the big jobs boards - they have no advice to give.

    Try:

Thanks for those sites, there isn't a huge load of jobs but I'll keep an eye on them.
