Dont mean to sound negative (but im an asshole) but nothing was actually acomplished.

If anything these broadcasts will only drive up the sales of places like maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

What, exactly, would you like to see accomplished?

    *opens holster*

I dont think anything could be acomplished by these broadcasts.

It will create more interest in Airsoft but probably from the wrong crowd.

Interesting side note: I had a guy last night ask me if he could borrow one of my pistols to scare a guy. These are the people your going to attract.

    Riiiiiiiiiight.

We phone up to the radio shows and ask if we can go on and be dragged over the coals by politicians and commentators because it's fun and we have nothing better to do.

As for your side note, hearsay and irrelevant. Threadspoiler.

    +1 for the IAA appreciation:D

    Dragged over the coals?
The recording sounded like a nice chat, which is good and came off well.
If we somehow missed the part where your flesh was dragged across burning coals then my apolagies (spell?)

    EDIT
As for your side note, hearsay and irrelevant. Threadspoiler.

Should the IAA not be worried by this kind of behavoure?

Should the IAA not be allowed a thanks once and a while for doing a good job without someone having a go?

If you want to discuss what went on during the radio show, take it to another thread. Not in this one.

Edit - On topic - Well done guys. :)

I didn't here anything about those broadcasts but everyone seems to be happy(except Arco) so I guess, keep up the good work!!!(I'm hoping someone will tell me about them soon)

as i said before in certain other threads i wont be bringing back up they are doing a bang on jpb and they naysayers who think there useless or whatever dont know the half of what these lads goto the trouble of doing to keep airsoft in a positive light

thats probably the last thing im going to say here in this thread as i can see myself inciting a row with someone but at the end of the day fair play to ronan, sean and the IAA for being able to go to the media and portray airsoft in a positive manner

To me the point of the IAA going on these calls is to defend airsoft and show that we are not a bunch of crazy lunatics, but normal, sane people :D
I think that this was accomplished on both calls, so well done.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,295 ✭✭✭SniperSight
