would upc dvr work with sky dish and cable

long story short, one of these is for sale on ebay, I get free to air from my sat dish, would the upc ntl dvr read and record the sky dish content, many thanks for any thoughts, :)

The short answer : No

The long answer: The box is designed and configured to work with UPC's cable or MMDS network. It won't work with anything else.

Also if it's on ebay, it's stolen. They belong to UPC, not the customers.
