Here, could anyone recommend me a layout on Bronze Age Weapons. I'm having a real hard time trying to get started as I have know idea where to start from.

Basically I have only done an introduction.

Its only a small project really, so I don't need too much detail. I was planning on dividing it up into the early/middle/later Bronze Age, and then discussing like the Killaha Phase(early) and the Dowris Phase(later)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

estebancambias, you've probably seen John Waddell's book The Prehistoric Archaeology Of Ireland, he has a very useful discussion of the main types (spread over a number of chapetrs) and handy tables of the phases with dating from Knocknagur through Dowris with the equivalents in England, and a good bibliography for further reading:).

It might help you to have a look at the social aspect of weapons in ritual deposition, try

The hoards of the Irish later Bronze Age by George Eogan

I have found the bronze age is woefully difficult to work on simply due to the lack of specialised accessible literature but anything with "the prehistory of ireland" in it ..... :)

    Cheers.

By the way does anyone know what period the Lissan Rapier comes from?

    I presume middle/later.

It's noted by Burgess and Gerlof 1981 (Waddell Prehistoric Archaeology Ireland has the full ref.) as their type III dating to c.1300-1100 BC, so its Middle. It's also a classic example of a display item. The blade is too long and narrow to be much use in combat and so like so many Bronze Age "weapons" it ended up in a bog.
