Im thinking of buying a 08 car, so can I just pay for 3 months road tax Now,
and in July switch to the Co2 emission based road tax(cheaper) ?
Or will I have to pay a full years road tax and then in 2009, switch to Co2 emission based road tax

Accoring to my boss, whose just bought a diesel powered VW, you can pay for 3 months (April, May and June), then pay at the new rate in July.
