Laser Eye Surgery 4 Years on...

I had laser eye surgery done in the Mater Private almost 4 years ago. When I got it done, it was the best thing I had ever done in my life! And unlike most things that are fantastic for only a short time before the novelty wears off, this has remained to be fantastic.
The only thing bothering me now is I know my eyesight not as good as it used to be when I got it done and has deteriorated a small bit. I still dont need to wear glasses or contacts though.

Can anybody tell me if they have experienced a similar regression in the quality of their eyesight a few years after having the surgery, and what did you do about it, if anything?!

Does anybody know if you need to get it done again, does it cost full price?

    Thanks!

Good to hear you're largely still happy with the op. I don't know about other places but I do know that the Wellington Clinic offer a lifetime guarantee with regard to what you originally has surgery for, i.e. you're not covered if you were myopic but now need glasses for reading as that's something that naturally occurs but you should be if you need them for distance again.

Had mine done around 9 years ago in South Africa. It has deteriorated, worse so at night... halo's around lights and such. I've yet to do anything about it but I keep telling myself I should.

Still don't need to wear glasses though, and before I was as blind as a bat.

Were these with LASIK or LASEK?

If you are young your sight can continue to deteriorate until you hit about 30 even after laser surgery
