Where in Dublin to take photos?

Im in Dublin, with my camera, and a shoot has just been cancelled. I am optimistic that I do not completely waste the day away, but Im running out of ideas. My home is southbound on the DART line so I want to go somewhere thataway, any good ideas? Any great parks just off from a station? Or in the city centre itself? I've *done* stephens green so many times, though Im sure Il find myself there again today, but I was wondering what ideas or gems anyone else might have?

Sorry if this is far too personal and redundant a thread to start! But I'm really running out of ideas! Without a car Im limited to basically DART and Bus lines and Id love to hear of some great new spots :)

Oh! Style of photography- surreal more so than street btw. Any titbits of info would be lovely :)

    Lucy

Why not hop off at sandymount and walk across towards the strand? Weather is a bit crap though! Blackrock park is another alternative. I'm thinking b&w with moody skies!

Yeah I was thinking of walking along there, between sandymount and Blackrock... might do that!

Ok, this is a bit of a trek but I think it's worth it and you'd prob get a lot out of the location going by your style!

There's these mad ruin things between Blackrock and Seapoint dart station. Basically, get off at B'rock and walk up towards Seapoint station along the coast. You'll have to do

a bit of climbing over things, so don't die (I'd feel guilty!).

    Here's one I did earlier :P :

Oooooh that sounds right up my alley!! Thanks! I can't quite place exactly where youre talking about though, which is only annoying me as Ive stared out the window between those two stops twice every day for 6 years! :P is it visable from the DART line? Is it quiet?

Ah you see, it's down a hill! From memory, when you're on the dart heading toward Seapoint from B'rock you pass under two bridges! One a kind of old one and a newer, metal one. The ruin things are literally down that little hill. You wouldn't be able to see it from the dart! By the way, I met your friend Camilla at a free gaf once and I always see her in DIT now! She's very distinctive looking (in a good way!).
