    Hello people's

I am doing a project where by we are controlling a compressor. I wish to control a frequency converter via a pc using devicenet.

I am very new to this sort of thing. Can anyone suggest as to how I go about this ? Most of the hardware connections have been completed.

I am currently trying to understand how the frequency converter connects with devicenet. Its a Dancfloss HVAC

    Regards

    Super Ted

What sort of device net (CAN) card have you got on the PC?

What software have you got to control the CAN card? or do you have to write that yourself...

You'll need to see what CAN/device net messages the frequency drive takes for various commands, then get your software to output these on the CAN bus...
