    WSOP Side event Satellites Online

    Well,

I played the main event last year and ran awfully going out with a flopped set of Queens vs a flopped set of Aces, lovely! In my 8 hrs at the table I had to laydown QQ preflop, KK preflop and AhKh preflop!! to be shown Aces each time, it was pretty disgusting....
An hour after exiting the tournament I thought to myself "I could have played 4 side events for this kind of money" and my experience has sort of put me off playing the main event again (at least until it makes sense economically), however I would certainly like to play some of the side events.
Anyhow, where can I find satts to side events online?
Also, what do you think is the best route to qualify for the main event?
I never actually tried to qualify last year, it was a bonus onto 1st place in a 100rebuy on Ladbrokes for their fifth anniversary. Pokerstars looks to be the best, but what route would you take, 33+rs , weekly 650, daily 50 or 220 shootouts, STEPS???

    Over'n'out.

For a player like yourself, I think the best value lies in the ME.

This always sounds like a sledging question but who is Shivverz?. Lloyds reply seems to indicate it is no secret. If it is a secret just ignore.

it could be mike magee stuck in a 20 year time warp. sounds like that hand he described in an old wsop poker documentary where he went out on the bubble.

Dont like the idea of a package most people trying to qualify for side events probably have the intention of been in vegas.Id prefer just buyin to event maybe it doesnt make sense who knows!

I think full tilt have side event packages for 2.5k. hit the tournanment lobby and click wsop on their client and you will see them all there.

I agree, I hope the ipoker one is ticket+cash instead of locking you into their hotel or their flights.

Another alternative is playing the satellites at the Rio

Not only can you make an entry into many of the side events, but you can make money for yourself solely playing these sats

all to first, but they are almost always chopped between the top 2/3

Correct!!!!! And yet there is a secondary market for these chips where they are quite liquid....

You can make profit just playing Sats and selling the chips

Many times when I go to a Tourny that lasts weeks, (including WSOP) I will play mostly sats and once I win 3 buy-ins I play one and take profit for two :)
