Lancia Beta Coupé anyone?

I ask because I found a small box of bits in the shed. Headlamps, instrument binnacle with dipstick pipe (for the oil level gauge), some switchgear and the little map pockets for the front footwells.

    Free to good home!

BTW, someone contacted me about 2 years ago regarding these bits and I owe him an apology. The text was wiped from my phone and I never got back to him.

Jeremy Clarkson might want them! :D

    Aaargh no!

I nearly watched it to the end and I've got a friend coming over with the tape and some beers to watch the whole thing. Nearly spoilt it for me!!

Looks like Clarkson may have found one of the few places on earth where the Lancia doesn't rust away.

Would there be any β's left in either here or the UK? Ones that work and haven't rusted away:D?

A friend of mine had a 1980 Beta in the early 90's. It was a red 1600 with a 2000 engine and was a rocket. He sold it in about 92 and I don't think it was ever seen again. The body was pretty good but the electrics were a bit ropey

Lovely little car them, though the TG experience when compared to either a 40 year old Opel Kadett or a w123 suggets they are best avoided.

    Mike.

Sorry Tootsy, in the absence of any takers the lot went in the skip (even that cute dipstick pump which lets you read the actual oil level on a dashboard gauge). The skip was picked up this afternoon.
    :(

I will own a beta some day!

Always loved the shape, since a gold one lived on my road when I was a nipper.
    Targa, of course!
