    Hey guys,
I've recently started using winamp instead of silly mp11 as it was constantly crashing and generally being dang annoying. So i was wondering if there's any way to get the media buttons on my laptop to work with winamp, or other players for that matter?(by the media buttons i mean the ones on the front of the laptop for pausing stopping and skipping tracks:)) I'm running XP sp2 by the way.
    Cheers
    Alan.

I haven't looked into it but I don't think you can. It's a bit of a pain because I'd love if it worked for vlc player. :(

just to say I went and installed some microsoft drivers(MS IntelliType maybe) on my 6400, and they worked perfectly with all the dell media keys and seemed much more useful, not using the laptop right now but might check later what the drivers were that i used

That dll solution isn't on that site you originally linked to any more. Not that I could see anyway.
