    Hi

Like many of the posters here, I am currently following shares and reading more about investments etc.

As a noobie however I would love to know if there is any software or online thing that I can sign up to so that I can "mock" bet or invest for a while to see if I really do have the hang of things before I dive in for real.

Is there such a program or online site that acheives this?

    Thanks!

Are you looking to invest or bet?

For investing, you can set up a portfolio on Yahoo Finance, "invest" some money and see how you are going a year later.

For betting, couldn't tell you much except you'll probably lose money. If you feel your investing is gambling, you're doing something wrong or you haven't read enough ;)

Sorry I was referring to spread betting, not on horses and the like, on share movements! I should have clarified that.
