…just so it’s not another singer wanted ad.

Anyway, we’re a 3 piece band looking for singer.

At the moment there’s drums, guitar and bass…we also have 2nd guitarist/keys ready to go when we have found the right singer. We’re in our mid-20’s, plenty of band experience (live & studio), songs written and demoed, our own rehearsal space and enough contacts built up so that getting started with decent gigs won’t be a problem.

Our style, well, we never sat down and aimed at sounding like anyone or any scene & we’ve been told that we sound like the more radio-friendly, pop-y sound of the Lost In Translation soundtrack…nice melodies, some dirty guitars with a beat, etc.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to rehearse at least twice a week, has previous experience and is willing to get involved in the song/lyric writing process. As for a style, well if it works, it works.

So if you’re interested, please get in touch and we'll send you a link to some demos and go from there!

    Hey lads,

i'm a 30 year old singer/songwriter, living in the southside at the moment with previous live and studio experience, have been looking around for the right musicians to form a band for a while now and like yourselves, don't aim to follow any particular current style but just write whatever comes naturally. Anyway, it sounds like the description may kind of be in the same ballpark as what i'm trying to do, atmospheric, melodic music. Have a listen to some of my tracks at www.myspace.com/thecourageconsort and if you are interested get back to me...
