I know SSBS, MarioKart and Wii Fit are imminent, but there's been no announcement of anything worth mentioning beyond that... Looking at Eurogamer's "most wanted" section, the only Wii games mentioned are those three and Okami, which I already have for PS2 :/

And only one out of the 35 most wanted is a DS game!

I know Reggie recently said Nintendo'd have something big to announce, but I want something to look forward to RIGHT NOW. In fact, I want lots of things to look forward to right now.

Hopefully I'm going to get a PS3 soon, where there's plenty to look forward to... Mainly GTA4, MGS4, SoulCalibur 4, GT5 and RE5.

I thought you'd owned a Wii since launch?
Surely by now you must be used to the constant drought, followed by a few first party releases and the occasional third party gem, then another drought...

The Wii is a machine that I could never recommend to somebody, unless of course they already have either a PS3 or a 360... It just doesn't cut the mustard by itself and requires a proper next gen machine to compliment it ihmo.

To be honest, I've been mostly okay with the pace of releases. It's not been too bad. But this is the first time where, following the releas of Mario Kart or Wii Fit, there will be absolutely no AAA titles even announced that we're waiting for.

    Completely agree with that.
But at 300 quid for a wii pack does it not seem kinda shocking that there are
only 4-5 decent games a year for it?
Assuming they are not making much profit on the hardware does it not make
the wii very unprofitable in comparison the something like the 360 which
seems to have new must have games every 2 weeks?
Found myself playing sega superstars tennis last night out of desperation
to play something new on the console and after 10 mins it got turned off
to never ever get played again.
Another awful awful game on the wii :(
Thank god for no more heroes is all i can say
