Hi All, thinking of relocating to Tipperary - around Nenagh. Bit sick of Dublin and all it entails. Hoping to get some opinions on living in / around Nenagh. We have a young babs (currently 6 months) so things that might be good for young children of particular interest as well as general information. Thanks.

it'll be a big change for you, moving from the city to.. nenagh! although its not all that bad, its like any other town. Just some people on here have a thing against nenagh for some reason.... nightlife is great, some craic!

also, plenty of creches etc for your baby. Theres 3 primary schools you could send him/her to. The Gaelscoil is a mixed Irish school, Boys National School is all boys up to 1st class (then they go to the CBS untill 6th class) and the convent is an all girls school. Theres plenty of country schools but the facilities arent great....

Its totally up to you, but if you wanted to get away fom the rush of the city, id say go for it! And if you wanted to visit a city for shopping etc, Limerick is only 40 mins away!
