VoIP on Ipod touch - possible??

27-03-2008 12:11pm#1Is it possible to use an add-on mic (i know they are available) and some VoIP porgram such as good ol skype on an ipod touch?
Myself and the missus are off around the world
and this could be a very good and cheap way contacting home in a wifi environment if its possible?

Yep, you need to get the SIP-Voip app from the installer (oh it has to be jailbroken). Then buy a mic from the net, do a search for ipod touch mic.
Then you'd need a VOIP provider, I use blueface.ie0 -
