im changing my scope for my 6.5, i have a burris on it at the mo, but withthe dollar being low now i think il go for a more expensive model, which of the above is better? or are they both equally as good? im leaning more towards the zeiss....

No difference really in quality, personal preference really, so look at both and pick the one that appeals to you.

+1 NoNameRanger. And maybe have a look at Swarovski and Kahles as well. Price would be similar to higher scale Zeiss and quality is superb as well.

Personally I'm very happy with the 3-9x40 Conquest I have on my Hornet. Given the longer effective range on the 6.5 a slightly bigger diameter and slightly higher magnification might be in order. Then again 9 times magnification in my opinion is plenty for hunting.

remember to consider that if in the future you decide to target shoot at long range youll need a scope with loads of moa elevation adjustment,
something to consider when buying a high end scope in my opinion,;)
