If you get a DVB-S receiver for your PC you will pickup whatever channels are available on the satellite your dish is currently pointed at. If you wanted to receive the terrestrial channels you would need to get a DVB-T or analogue terrestrial card. There are also hybrid devices available that will allow you to receive both DVB-T/Analog on from one card or newer ones that will receive DVB-S/DVB-T/Analog all from the one card.

so will this one pick up channels from my SKY? And how much of them. It comes with an aerial so it picks up things.

No, it won't pick up stuff from Sky. It's a terrestrial card not a satellite card.

    It will pick up things.....interference:)

Sky works via satellite and not aerial.
Just a quick grammatical note... it is not "how much channels" will it pick up, it is "how many"...there is a spell check you know
