Bands Playing Amhrán na bhFiann at the end of a Gig

Im curious to know do many live bands play the Irish Anthem at the end of a Gig? It is more popular down the country than in the city. As a DJ I often end up having to put on a cover version of it at a wedding or party. To me playing it is a statement that "all is finished" . I have a similar thread posted on the DJ forum.

Never heard it being played at the end of a gig tbh.

    Except for trad bands.

I once played a Jimi Hendrix-esque version of it at the end of a gig.
One half of the crowd loved it , the other half wanted to kill me.
This was sunday night in a suburban pub

A cover version of that could come in handy at a rock night :)
