I know it looks like a sport for old people but its something I've wanted to try for years!

Anyone know of any places in Dublin where I might get to "have a go"? Or does anyone here play?

    Cheers

    I'll take it you're serious:)

Don't know much about the game or indeed where you are in Dublin but CYM in Terenure have a good bowls section and there's a great view of the...lawn/pitch/? from the bar. Every so often they'd have an open day where members of other sections of the club could have a go and it was always good craic. I'm sure if you dropped in or gave someone a call they'd be happy to let you have a spin.

It's a nice club, not stuffy with a load of different sports going on so everyone is catered for.

Cheers for the link, I'm Tallaght based so I might try it out.
