My house was originally a 2 up 2 down, with an outhouse out the back. 40 odd yrs later, its now a 1 big, 1 smallish, and a bathroom upstairs. The wall between the bathroom and adjacant room is concrete. However, the wall from the bathroom to the hall (above and beside the door) is fairly bad plasterboard. And the wall between the large room and the hall has a completly useless wooden door there.

Basically, question is, should I plasterboard a wall where the completly useless door is, blocking off a v-ish shape that wont ever be used, something like a <I. Or should I get a builder in to replace the bathroom wall and bedroom wooden door with bricks and cement, making no unused space. <
