Am thinking of getting the latest version of this software which turns still photos into movie-like slideshows, which can then in turn be converted into a DVD-loadable "movie".

    Here it is. Opinions?

Oh, if you're asking, iPhoto is just not as creative.

That IS one cool piece of software...Now, if only I can get my kids to play out those little figurine toys and the cars...

Still, not exactly the same thing. What exactly is macbreak weekly?

its a podcast from twit.tv they had patrick wilson of weezer on this week, weel worth a listen.

i am sure they said they latest version allows you to do it with your own photos without using the webcam, sorry could have been wrong though.

i put together a great cd for my friends of all our pictures from holidays w/ a few video clips with all the songs from the summer in the background with iDVD, looked very professional. if i had paid for it i wouldnt have been disappointed.

Yes, I did approximately the same thing with video clips (imported via iMovie) for the shots taken for the my daughter's first year after birth. Added music, titling, etc., and burn DVDs for my in-laws. Very convenient - just pop the disc into a standard DVD player to re-live those memories. Hoping to do the same with still photos.
