More USB key data loss

    'Evening all - I didn't want to hijack the other USB key disaster post, but hopefully someone here will be able to help.

    My generic 128mb USB key stopped working one day; now I insert it and it wonders if I want it formatted. But I don't.

    I've tried the free recovery software on the sticky and some other free software I've found, but generally if it can see the drive it thinks it's 2048mb and can't see any data.

    Any thoughts? Many thanks.

    Bought this and it works a treat for most problems. recovered a full hard drive that was in Raw format.

    Thanks for the tip, still no success though. It thinks the USB key is 0mb. Wish they'd make up their minds.
