    Hi,
I have a 60GB Ipod Video and I have lots of music on my laptop running Itunes. My girlfriend has an ipod with very little music on it and she wants me to load some of my music onto her ipod. how do I go about doing this? Do I need to download a different software application?

    Thanks for your help...

    D

i'd really hate to see what would happen if you lost your ipod if it's your only storage area of your mp3's.

Thanks for the link. I may have described it incorrectly but I have a portable hard drive with my full music library on it. I also have a lot of it backed up on a few DVD's so nothing to worry about there.
What I'm really trying to do is transfer some of my music to another Ipod without wiping the existing songs.

Download iPodDisk, which allows you to access the music folders on any random iPod.

mac only, but a damn good program.

OP, i suggest doing this, create a new user on windows and then connect your portable hard drive with your music up then import into itunes then transfer to other ipod

Why oh why do people still make things difficult ?!?!
OP, all you simply have to do is connect your girlfriends iPod to your iTunes library and drag the music onto her iPod, ensuring that she has the 'automatically synch with iTunes library', or whatever the text is, option switched off on her iPod before hand.
It's no different to putting music on your own iPod.

well what i gathered from his posts was that there was music on his ipod that wasn't anywhere else and needed to get the songs off his ipod to transfer across.
