    Hey guys,

A few of my friends want pistols, but the problem is they want good ones at a low price.

Any advice on the best valued pistols under 100, the only gun they have seen is this:

    http://www.mainirishairsoft.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=228

So they probably expect the pistol to be somewhere near as powerful as that.

Anyway any help would be great.

Maybe if it isnt possible to get a good pistol for under 100 I should get a few of these for them:
    http://www.mainirishairsoft.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=238

    Thanks.

gunnerairsoft,i got a tm pistol shipped for €103

if you want a decent pistol under 100
MIA do a decent Glock 17
its around 70-80 mark and for range i think that mainly to do with the gas

Its very easy to get a gas pistol on ehobby for under 100€.

Get a kjw anything, or a WE 1911 type, be wary of the WE Hi-cappas, they can either be ok, or complete ****. There are still ones sold that are funky.

Ehobby though is good to get a pistol, add 10$ on to the shipping to see what it costs to ship here.

Is this gas or electric? Not sure whether my friends would want gas as they prefer cheapest long term option aslo haha. Electric?

    Is it a good site?

Its a gas blow back, Its a good site but you can get them from most other sites. www.Ehobbyasia.com have them to and its within your price range. As much fun as the full auto version is id still recommend the semi auto only version instead, Its a much more reliable piece. [thought my link above was actually for the semi version]

lol you know ive thought about getting a third a few times now :p

AEPs only fire at around 250 FPS where as Gas hits harder, usually around 300FPS+ using Green gas.

I believe that Beretta is gas.

that's gas, electric pistols are ok, gas is the most fun and most realistic since the slide blows back on every shot, whereas electric just makes a little whirring noise and spits out a bb

i've got 4 gas blowback pistols,1 gas non-blowback and 1 electric, the electric is just no fun in comparison blowback ones, the advantage they do have is that electric pistols are not affected by cold weather, whereas gas pistols are a bit more of a pain in cold weather

rsov.com is a good site to order from, although they are suffering a bit of a backlog at the moment, so orders are taking a few days to ship where they used to ship next day

actually, looking at that full auto one on rsov again, it says its old stock and its the first gen version, there's a pretty bad review of it there too, given the tempermental nature of the full auto one, i think ill give it a miss

The selector I think is meant to go, or the safety, or both.

Anyway yeah, something was wrong with them.

the safety will break if you cock it while the selector is set to safe i think...

the full auto on mine broke as a result of that, and when i re-seated the spring that caused the problem it then fired full auto in safe, but now it doesnt fire at all because the striker is misaligned, ill eventually get around to fixing it :p

Would definitely recommend the WE 1911 from Eirsoft.. Great piece of kit and great value at €110, not sure if there still comin with 2 mags though. I've also found it to be a pretty hardy piece, having dropped it on concrete quiet a few times:o The spare mags for it are also pretty reasonable from cobra airsoft.

Yea they just generally want something under 100 including delivery.

Whats the deal with the gas, does it last very long, I always found it a pain with paintball.

Any info regarding the shotguns on mainirishairsoft, I mean the 40 euro one, seems to have a good review but it seems very cheap to be worth it to me.

the full auto versions are dodge if cocked while the safety is on. ive done this once or twice to my ones and nothing happened but its pretty common for full auto or the safety to be rendered useless as a result. The semi auto versions are much more reliable and dont have these odd problems. The trigger springs are about the only real weak point but replacements can be got very easily and cheaply. Ive had my pair for over a year and they havnt broke yet.

All in all their excellent value. Most on arnies/ascuk rate them as the best full metal pistols in the middle price range

You can use cans of propane which will last quite a length of time if you buy a propane adapter from IAS or eirsoft.ie or failing that greengas from any supplier.
    hope this helps

Would the gas last more than one day, like a few hours play.

No it would only last 40 rounds max on a warm day.

    Per mag fill.

I think he meant the bottle, havn't a clue how long, I have a can of propane and green gas, neither have ever ran out :D

TBH, I think you'll get plenty of use out of a 12€ bottle, enough to be worth it anyway.

Cool, one of my friends just bought this:

    http://www.eirsoft.ie/store/product_info.php?cPath=22_31&products_id=29

How long do they take to deliver usually?

    Any good? Reviews seem good.

I'm not sure which pistol my other friend should get yet though.
