compressing video files

    i was just wondering, is it possible to compress video files to a resolution of 320 x 240 . Any help would be appreciated.

    You probably need a video encoder.
    Xilisoft video encoder is top notch and can do almost anything you'd want it to, unfortunately.. It's not free.
    I don't have musch experience with free ones but I'd imagine a google search or two along the lines of "free video converter" would do the job.

    I'd use virtualdub but if it's just a one off you may be better to go for something simpler like above.

    AuoGK should do the trick, although it's a lengthy process (depending on the original file)
