    Hiya...

Moving from Galway to Dublin this week. I'm a beginner at the running but better then i was 2 months ago !! Found some fellow beginners threw 'board.ie' to run the prom in Galway & we ended up being a great little team - motivating each other & talking about marathons!!! Sad to leave the girls........

But looking for anyone interested in evening runs, in Pheonix Park. nothing too crazy but 3-4 nights a week would be great!!!

Any takers or suggestions let me know??

    Check out http://www.irishfit.com/
I think they meet in Phoenix Park on Saturday morning at 10am (i know, this is not evening), but it's may be a start to get to know some runners in Dublin/Phoenix Park.

    hi there

i placed an ad last week looking for someone to run with on sat or sun mornings and then a link appeared to your ad from a few months ago.

Did you meet up with the irishfit group?? I got a few replies but Im not into 12-18 miles just yet!

there are a good few running from 9am on sat and sun morning but trying to link up with them isnt easy.

anyway if you did meet with that group it would be good to hear what they are like to ru with

thanks.......good luck if you are doing the 5 mile on saturday

    Hi Clonsillarunner,

At what stage in your training are you at?
I live near Clonsilla and I am also looking for a running partner, both for mid week and weekend.
I am a 7.5 - 8 mile pace man, and long runs at the moment are about 10-12 miles.

    Cheers,

    Jason.
