    It's a brand of Linux based Satellite receiver. A kind of Hobbyist version somewhat customisable, for enthusiasts. There are different models.

    You need a Dish, LNB, cable, patience ... Or pay someone about €150 to install it.

    For PayTV you need a subscription and viewing card. Some systems need a CAM too. If you follow instructions and use a suitable cam, it works with your Sky viewing card, giving EXACTLY what ever channels the Sky digibox gets, but with out automatic tuning, without Digital Text, without Interactive and without Program Guide.

    There are other easier to use receivers that are cheaper and other more expensive receivers.
    There are also many other Linux based receivers too.
