    Hey guys,
Im thinking of getting a compound bow in the near future. Not realy for compeating with but just for a bit of crack and also so i can learn to set one up, im quite ignorant when it comes to compounds in general........

So my question here is what should i go for? Keeping in mind that im gona need a full set up, as in -bow, sight, launcher, release aid and arrows!
Also im not made of money, especialy for something that im not going to compeat with! Opinions and sugestions people?

    Cheers,
    Ian.

I don't know anything about archery but I'm planning on getting a bow from here. Their bows are very cheap but I'd say they're probably c**p :)

Also this might be of some help.

If you can get your hands on one the KAP compounds (can't remember the model name but there's only one) is good for just messing about but decent enough to shoot in competitions if you want either. The bow itself is about 300 and the various bits and pieces needed depend on whatever you want yourself.

ASI sells them, or used to but KAP stopped making them. Ask Keith or Dave. Harry shot one of the original ones that Keith had. And there'll be one at the lollipop shoot
