    Hi,
Im designing a house with a projecting 1st floor. Under the projecting part of the building, I need to insulate externally in order to prevent cold briding. My question is, does anyone here know of a good external insulation company or solution? As it stands, under the projecting overhang part of the building, Ive got 25mm cold bridge rigid urethane insulation fixed to the soffit, a dpc over the insulation and then render over the dpc. Can this be done, as in can external plaster be applied to dpc? My solution is to wrap gyplath to the dpc and then fix the plaster. Any input is much appreciated

Is this the detail you are describing?

Can you give the dimensions of the 'overhang/projection' and what material is giving the structural strength: is it precast concrete for example?

Is it a cantilever projection or is it supported with concrete or steel columns?

What cladding is used on first floor and how does it cover the end of the structural material referred to above?
    Thanks
