Wouldn't the right place to post this be on sevenstring.org?

Id rather not because im getting the impression off them that if your just there to sell something rather than contribute then they wont let you, know what i mean?

Alternatively if anyone has any experience on selling guitars, or anything for that matter, online, could you tell me how it went etc.

I have zero experience with selling things over the net so im looking for some feedback and that, want to try and sell the guitar fast etc.

    Cheers.

Sell it in the buy and sell tbh. Or ebay.

You say you've no experience selling things online or overseas. Personally, I'd never buy off someone on a forum who didn't have a proven track record when it comes to trustworthiness, packing skills, professionalism (good communication, keeping me in the loop re shipping etc), and just general cop-on in all other regards.

And most people would be the same, (depending obviously on value, payment method etc). So you'd be hard pushed to sell it on SS.org, especially with a brand new account created specifically just to sell the guitar.

So you're probably better off selling it locally, or on ebay where there's a system of sorts in place.

But in fairness, if you've zero feedback on Ebay, you'll never shift something like a guitar anyway. The systems in place rely on you proving yourself and then having something to lose by trying to rip someone off. Selling it locally is your best bet. Adverts.ie or the Buy and Sell.

sevenstring.org is a great website, its a deadly resource for 7 string guitars. I don't think its the best way to about trying to sell something though, especially if you don't go on the forums and you've never sold before.
Adverts.ie is a good place to try offload it like people said.
Anytime I've done a transaction, through forums ads, or eBay, I've never had a problem. As long as you keep wise and don't try buy anything dodgy or if someone asks you to do something really unusual in an online sale, then just back out.
