    How's it going folks,

I'm doing an arts degree in NUIG, one of the subjects I'm doing is in legal science, I took it up as a fourth subject (bad idea I know) but I'm really starting to enjoy it. I did very well in the christmas exams and I'm considering keeping it on next year along with history. I just have a couple of queries.

Why is it called legal science? I know it's different to a law degree but I'm wondering how exactly it differs, do you go into Law later on in legal science?

Secondly, I'm considering taking up human rights law, I'm just wondering if anyone here is in NUIG and knows when exactly it comes up (is it a second year course or a post grad or anything), any feedback on it is welcome.

I am going to ask my legal science lecturer about it but it's the easter holidays and I'd appreciate some initial advice here.

    THanks
