    From R. Kerry website:

RTE reception to be restored by this weekend

RTE hopes to have television reception restored to South West Kerry by the weekend.
Thousands of people in the greater Caherciveen area have been without an RTE signal since last week when stormy weather conditions damaged the antenna in Kilkeveragh.
A temporary unit has been installed, however for some people the television picture is snowy.
An RTE spokesperson says it is taking some time to source the five metre replacement aerial, however, weather permitting full reception will be
    restored by tomorrow or Saturday

Still broken today around lunch time. Don't know if it's back on at this stage.

The whole thing seems rather strange. Could they be testing the waters for something??
