    Hi All....

I was thinking of changing my hair, but wanted to get a consultation before I decided for definite. Can anyone advise me on where would be a good place to go, and what I could expect to pay for the consultation? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! :)

I've found that Peter Marks or Toni and Guy are the best. But you can expect to pay for the quality, though

    Halo are fantastic.
They are in town, just opposite Hogans and beside the Market Bar.

I have got my hair cut and coloured there and have been blown away by the quality and service.

Best hair cut and colour ive ever had and reasonably price too.
My hairdresser mates were pretty impressed too!

i recommend salon zeba on south william street.

i was there yesterday and i can honestly say its the only place iv been where myself and the hairdresser sat down to discuss what i wanted. we talked about what would suit and what my expectations were.

consultations are free everywhere i believe!

Any idea of a price on that BeatNik? Am looking to get this done soon enough but don't really want to spend the world on it and not familiar with Dublin salons

Salon Zeba on South William St is definitely considered one of the best, but be prepared to pay around 60euro maybe more. I'd also reccomend Dylan Bradshaw, Zoo (wicklow st), Revive in Milltown or Kris Morton (Santry). These guys are the pro's and definitely the top 5 in dublin.

To be honest I wouldn't reccomend Toni and Guy or Peter Mark for very personalised consultations, its a bit like the difference between buying food in Dunnes versus getting it from a fresh food market. The cuts are good, but very standard.

Hope you love your new hair!!!

Agree with cunning-doll...it depends where you want to go really. Generally speaking the quality of training in the top city centre salons is hard to beat....PM and T+G do have a reputation for "conveyor belt" work though

    Consultations should always be free....
