iPod mini won't charge

Hey, so my sister has gone and flown off to Thailand & Australia and we were clearing out her room, found an ipod mini... When i tried to turn it on (by pressing play) I get an empty battery symbol (well a battery with an exclamation point) so i presume that the battery is flat...

I plugged it into my computer, the symbol changes to an apple logo, but nothing happens, it doesn't appear to be charging or anything...

I think the ipod should be ok (she stopped using it cos she got a new player, not cos it broke) so i dunno what the problem is... Just curious to see if it runs and stuff, my other sister will take it if it does work...

Plug it into a wall charger/iPod dockstation thing. That should sort you out.

Just an update, my brother's friend had one of those wall chargers, he eventually got it last night, and the ipod now seems to be working \o/

    Thanking you...
