Hey guys, just moved into an apartment in Dublin and was looking to set up some tv channels but have no idea where to start! I'm big into Serie A and Italian in general and would love to be able to receive Italian Tv Channels such as Rai1 etc and even SKY Sports Italia; does anyone know if this is possible from Dublin as I don't know of anybody who has them here??? Any advice would be much appreciated :) ....

Most of the Italian channels are on Hotbird 13E - will you be allowed to erect a dish in your apartment block?

If you get a dish and a free-to-air receiver, you'll be able to watch the following channels (with Hotbird X after their names).

The RAI channels are sometimes free-to-air but some programmes are encrypted. For full access to those, you'll need a Sky Italia receiver and a subscription. Depending on which package you pay for, you can also get Sky Sports Italia.

You can see Seria A matchs live on CH5 on Sundays. To get CH5 you'll need a FREE TO AIR card you can pick one up on E-BAY for about 70 euro and the put the card into a Sky Box.
