Hold Em Manager vs. PT3

I'm thinking of a return to Hold Em after a few months Omaha. I haven't used holdem Manager yet, though I downloaded a trial a couple of months ago. I know a few people on here are very keen on it. Just wondering what the overall verdict is between those familiar with PT3 beta and Hold Em Manager.

Is there much difference between them? Is one stronger in some things than the other or is there a clear choice?

i had to wipe of pc, so lost PT and PAHUD

PT3 doesn't have a HUD as of yet afaik.
It also only supports Party, FT and Stars at the moment.

HM supports all sites, but I find it really slow on my computer in comparison to PT. However, the HUD pop ups are a lot quicker than the PAHUD ones. It'll do for the time being but I can see myself getting PT3 when it's out fully.

Can you use Gamtime+ with PT3?

If you purchase PT2 or PAhud you'll have 100% of the cost discounted from your PT3 purchase if it's within the last 2 months, 60% within the last 6 months, 40% within the last year and 20% otherwise.

The hud beta was scheduled for mid March but I don't think it's out yet. The new hud should automatically display freshly imported stats as the hud is built in this time. Which should give it the same speed as HM.

There's a built in hud so gametime+ will be obsolete afaik.

I have only briefly used Pt3. The import speeds seemed to be good but I had an issue with trying to dig down in stats, example finding out how often I cr flops with tp etc. I found it awkward to use, much easier to use HM in that respect. But still in beta and last I heard the Pt hud was due next release for beta 6

Do you mean the HUD or when your querying stats, the older versions were very laggy but over the last while i find the querying very fast compared to PT2 especially when querying large amounts of stats of 30k+

I just ran a scan there of my last 20k hands and it took just over 30 seconds to run
