    What the hell man? The PS3 power lead is a bog standard 13A kettle lead that is used on millions of appliances. You must have one lying around somewhere.
    If you don't you can get one for €1 in any electrical, DIY store.

    I paid €700 at launch and didn't want to risk blowing it up without asking first rather than regretting later.

    Yea man dont worry about it! I use old ones in my computer which has a 1000 watt PSU lol nothing bads happened yet!! Worst thing that can happen is the fuse in the plug breaks!
