Well im finally going to a munster game and im bringing my camera along :D..Im in row C in the crowd so i wont be to high off the ground as it a night time game ill be sticking to 90mm on my 90-300 zoom at it'll be at f/4.Would i be better shooting in raw as then i have better editing possibilities?
Aslo should i stick to iso 800? or will i have to go higher:eek:

oh and one more thing would i be better off mf'ing??

    Thanks all :D

I'm not sure how well the 20D handles high ISO, but you'd want to go as high as possible. Also, if you're shooting in RAW, you wont have the same burts rate.

If you're just after a general shots of the game, then you'll probably manage.
Hope you don't have some huge bloke sat in front of you! :D

Is your ticket for the touchline seating or in the stand? If it's touchline there is only a few rows so you shouldn't be too far from the action, if you in the stand then you be back a bit.

AFAIK its in the stand ..so unless i sneak down to the touchline somehow the shots wont be that good at all.

    That's in Tralee, isn't it?
Nice bit of travelling for you.

I'm leaving the sport for today & going after more West Cork scenery.

West Cork is a great place for photography. Must make a trip down around that area myself in the next few weeks.

Here's a sample of rugby images taken from the stands - Justin Heyburn. He's probably in the front row, but you should be able to get similar.

Hopefully you'll get some great shots.
