Heading on an 8-night trip to Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius next month, 2 nights in each.

Looking for any poker related information people might have (location, type of game, quality, likelihood of not being mugged for winnings by a stereotypical ex-KGB commando etc).

Did a bit of googling and there seems to be loads of casinos in each of these cities, but the online information is a bit lacking in details.

    AJ.

Not too sure about poker but whatever you do stay out of the Strip Clubs in Riga. You absolutely will be ripped off and failure to pay exorbitant bs = encounter with ex-KGB nutjobs!!!

Btw, if you want to do something a little different, i recommend going bobsleighing in Latvia. To this day it's probably the single scariest thing i've done , def the most exhilirating. The whole trip takes an evening, it's around 90 mins outside Riga, you get dinner, a few drinks after and you get to Feel the Rhythm, Feel the Pride as you get taken down the track by 1 of the Latvian National Team (my driver was Olympic Bronze medallist). G-Force on your body on the bottom 2 turns. It's sick! Whole evening only like 80 euros, best money you'll ever spend imo.
