Mirai Remote Control Bushed

Hi everyone, My remote for my 32" Mirai TV is bushed. It ran out of batteries and it took me some time to bother to change them. Now I have new batteries and it wont work. Could the remote have reset and now need me to input codes to make it correspond with my TV again? Cheers for all help on this, Dave
