    Hey guys
    Going to manchester for long weekend next weekend for a match? any recommendations things to do? Restaurants etc? bear in mind im sa student so nothing too extravagant!

    Whereabouts are you staying. If you wanna drink on a budget find the nearest whetherspoons.

    If you are in the center of town

    Printworks is pretty decent. All class of bars and a savage cinema in there.

    The giant ferris wheel is worth going up on.

    Manchester Cathedral is really worth seeing if you're into buildings

    Also the tour of old trafford is worth doing (regardless if you support united or not)

    two great student clubs but i forget their name... just ask around for the student nightclubs, drinks 1 pound for a double red bull & vodka...
