    Hi,

I have a Honda Shadow SRX90. Yes yes, I know its not a real bike ;)

I need to get it over hauled. Its has not been used much and is in need of
service. Anyone know where the best place to get it done. I live in Cavan, but I don't mind heading to Dublin with it to get looked at.

It also needs some of the body work repaired/fix. I've tried contacting Honda, but they've not gotten back to me. I know there was a Honda Shop in mountjoy, they repalced parts for me before, but that was years ago.

Where is the best place to bring it. Thanks in advance for any help.

You could contact Honda and ask for a list of their solus dealers closest to you, all of whom should have an EPC to select your bodywork and order the bits for you. We have the system but were a bit far away for you to come.

There must be something in the air. Not an hour ago I booked in an SRX for overhaul after its been lying up.:)

    Hi Cheers for that.

Seeing that your doing one at the moment. Is it easy enough to get the parts to replace the damaged body work? I assume the engine and other parts are more or less standard and are not specific to that bike. Seeing that the bike is no longer made.

Where are you based? I do travel around a lot.

Were right down in the South East.:)

Service parts are easy enough to get, and Honda will provide a parts backup for all their bikes up to 20 years old, so you should be able to get the bike specific parts you need. I warn you though, they aint cheap!

    Cheers,

I had one before and I had to replace some bodywork on it. Cost about 300 pounds at the time. I am bracing myself...

Its good to hear they hold parts for that long.
